In 2007 ABC was FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council) certified. All our products are printed on FSC-certified paper and
identified as such. In this way we contrib-ute actively to socially sustainable forest management. By purchasing ABC greeting
cards, our corporate customers and end consumers contribute too to the same worthy cause.
The switch to solar
2015 marked the inauguration of ABC's new solar roof on the company's 2000m2 production hall. The plant is one of the largest of its kind in the Bern region. ABC greeting cards are distinguished by their sustainable Swiss quality production.

New LED light ing
In 2016 ABC installed a completely new lighting system in its production hall. The system features modern LED lighting, with a
dimmer sensor which automatically adjusts light intensity to the ambient conditions.
The result – a saving of some 85% in ener-gy consumption.
Low Energy - high performance
In 2016 ABC also acquired a new low ener-gy high performance printing press from
Heidelberg (Germany) – one of the most modern of its kind in the world. The new machine resulted in more efficient and sustainable production, drastically reducing energy consumption.
